CAS is a single sign-on service that provides access to several secure ESA websites and services.
Single Sign-Out
When you end your CAS single sign-on session by logging out of CAS, CAS attempts to log you out of all the services that you visited during your session. While this works well under normal circumstances, there are a number of fundamental limitations with this feature. For that reason it is strongly recommended that you close your browser after logging out of CAS, particularly in cases where additional security is merited, such as a shared computer.
For security reasons, please Log Out and Exit your web browser when you are done accessing services that require authentication!
Privacy Settings
Once you are logged in, you can change your privacy settings and you can opt-in (or opt-out) for a mailing list used for announcing Cosmos related activities. The link to the privacy settings is available in the Privacy Notice, which is found in the footer of the Cosmos portal.
Invalidated Passwords
On the 6th of December 2018, all Cosmos passwords were invalidated to force users to reset their password. By performing the
password reset, the user agrees to the current privacy settings, which are enforced by the ESA Privacy Policy. To decline our
policy, please send us an email and we will delete your account.
In case you haven't reset your password after the 6th of December 2018, please use the 'Forgot your password
link' to perform the required reset.
